Climate Change in the Classroom: Teachers’ Professional Development Workshop
A teachers’ professional development workshop facilitated by the Monash University Faculty of Science, in partnership with the International Science Council and the Royal Society of Victoria.
The line-up includes several academics from the Monash School of Earth, Atmosphere & Environment (SEAE), who will be focusing on a number of aspects of teaching climate change in the classroom, including:
- The Knowns and Unknowns of Climate Change
- The Australian Climate and Climate Change
- Mythbusters: The top ten bad arguments about climate change put under the microscope
- Q&A and breakout sessions
We will also be showcasing the Monash Simple Climate Model and discussing how SEAE academics have integrated Climate Change Science into high school lesson plans. For further information, please email Dr James Driscoll.
