The Royal Society of Victoria disseminates new scientific knowledge and encourages scientific debate through the medium of its international journal, Proceedings of the Royal Society of Victoria, in which peer-reviewed original research articles, review articles, and short communications in all areas of science. Historically, summary articles of lecture presentations and essays were published under the title “Transactions” in our journal, and are today offered online as posts on our website, and as video materials recorded during our various events.
The Royal Society of Victoria has published articles of scientific interest in the Proceedings of the Royal Society of Victoria annually since 1854. Today the Proceedings are published online, open access through CSIRO Publishing.
The Society invites contributions for the Proceedings from authors across all disciplines of science and on issues concerning technology and the applied sciences.
Reports on the impact of our major programs and reviews of our annual cycle are also published online.
