Research and data are central to the Victorian Environmental Assessment Council‘s role in providing authoritative advice and recommendations on public land. In this series of five-minute talks, you’ll hear from twenty postgraduate students, public land managers and scientists who conduct research on public land.

This symposium is part of VEAC’s program of online events throughout 2021 that celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Council and its predecessors. This event also marks ten years of the Bill Borthwick Student Scholarships, established for tertiary students to assist in the costs of research relating to public land in Victoria.

Co-sponsored by the Arthur Rylah Institute for Environmental Research, Museums Victoria , the Royal Society of Victoria, and the Commissioner for Environmental Sustainability, Victoria.
