Kids Conference 2019 – Melbourne Workshop
The Kids’ Conference is back for 2019, running on 18 November in Melbourne this year. The experience of presenting your work to a conference can be daunting to approach for the first time, so the conference organisers are convening a workshop to help students and their teachers prepare. Bring your Science, Geography, History, English, Maths or Music ideas and teachers to this Facilitators and Presenters workshop at the Royal Society of Victoria!
For Students, the Kids’ Conference supports the development and communication of their ideas. The workshop is dedicated to student voice and will engage students through a range of exciting activities in collaboration and presentation skills.
For Teachers, the workshop supports teachers who are looking to develop and share project approaches. The workshop will also provide teachers with new insights into student-led learning approaches and facilitation skills.
This leads to a plenary, where teachers, facilitators and their prospective Kids’ Conference presenters come together to explore the Kids’ Conference program further and discuss the students’ Big Ideas being developed this year.
Students and teachers can book below. The workshop is co-facilitated by our partners at Cultural Infusion. Registrations for the Conference itself will open on 9 September.
